Charlottesville is conveniently located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with the State Capitol, Richmond, one hour to the East and Washington,DC two hours to the northeast. New York city is a seven hour drive and daily commuter air traffic makes reaching NY and other cities easy. The ocean is 2 to 3 hours away to either Deltaville where boats are kept or Virginian Beach with its boardwalk and hotel attractions.
